Greys & Chub Carp Academy manager Jason Green lands an awesome 83.4lb common

Greys & Chub Carp Academy manager Jason Green has landed the fish of a lifetime. Whilst fishing the Rainbow complex on holiday in France, Jason caught the 83.4lb Carp know as Eric’s common, the first time the fish has been caught over 80lbs. Jason managed to catch this beautiful fish using the Greys Torsion 13’ 3.5lb TC rods, Shimano MGs reels, 40lb Power Pro braid, Kryston Quicksilver hooklink and a size 4 Drennan super strong hook.

Jason said;
“To catch this fish was beyond all my expectations. I was lucky enough to land a 71lb Mirror from Etang 5 four years ago, but to return to France some years later and land a 83.4lb Common, well... I’m lost for words, this may well be the fish of my lifetime”
