The fishery is open till 7pm 7 days a week for evening sessions. All ponds are fishing very well indeed. The two fly ponds and the bait & spinning pond are fishing extremely well at the moment with many fish in the 3lb – 5lb range with a few larger specimens in the 8lb – 12lb range. Two specimens were caught this week - a 11lb rainbow for G Docherty (Falkirk) on a Damsel Nymph in his 4 for 23lb 4oz. D Smith (S’Muir) landed a fine 9lb 6oz rainbow while spinning meps in his 3 for 17lb form the bait pond. 1 Yellow Tag worth £50 was caught by lucky angler K Ferries (Bathgate) using Lobworm.
