APRIL NEWS ROUND-UP FROM ANGLING LINES VENUES |

This magnificent 66lb common was caught from the Angling Lines venue Margot on 8th April by Andy Lenox. Successful tactics were Carp Company Caviar/Cranberry boilie, 8inch Atomic Tackle 25lb jelly wire hook link & Korda wide gape size 6. The beast was caught from the left hand margin of peg 2.  Super Quick Start for Linda! Linda Latham had been at Mas Bas for just 2 hours when she hooked into this 42.09 mirror. Linda was fishing Lotus Pool & tempted the mirror with Quest Liver B8 boilie above matching Maximum Action Pellet.  Dave Bodman and his colleagues fished Island Lake for a week on the 12th of April and had a fabulous catch including 2 x 50’s and 5 x 40’s in a 24 fish haul. Successful tactics were small amounts of Halibut pellet and 6 freebies over a single boilie hookbait (Baitworks Atlantic Heat, 15mm), finding the right spots and then having the patience to sit on your hands (48hrs +) until the fish arrived over the small beds of bait.
