A & J’s Croix Blanche complex in France has started the season just as it closed last year – with a massive 70lb mirror!

Dave Cox had a 71lb 2oz fish in November 2005 – this time it was the turn of A & J regular Dave Storey who has broke the complex record with a fish known as the Hippo at 72lb.  Dave took the fish from the Tortue Lake at 3pm in glorious sunshine on Wednesday, May 10th.

The last time this fish came to the net was in September 2005 when it tipped the scales at 67.12lbs … the captor?...  Dave Storey again!
