Carp Society Appointment and Shop Opening

We are pleased to welcome a new member of staff, Luke Ochman, who joined us on 19 March as our Business Development Manager.

His successful background in fishery management and the various commercial roles he has accomplished, will add greatly to the service we can provide across the Society’s activities.

Luke will report to and work alongside David Mannall in every aspect of the business (retail outlet, administration, event organisation, lake management and bailiffing), and carries the full support of the Board.

Luke joins at a particularly significant phase of the Society’s business development and we greatly look forward to his contribution.

Luke (right) is pictured with David Mannall at the opening of the new tackle shop in the clubhouse at the Horseshoe Lake site. The shop currently stocks sundry items for anglers fishing Horseshoe including baits by Dynamite and rig bits and accessories from companies ESP, Fox, Korda, Wychwood, TFG, Hardy Greys and Gardner. The expansion of the shop onto a second floor to encompass larger tackle items will continue during 2007 and beyond.
