Another great catch at Chapel Lake

News Release From Chapel Lake

What a week THESE two had. After a very slow start Steve McCann bust his PB with a very nice 39lb 8oz. Lee on the other hand was not having much luck.

Then at 21.15 on the 12th April Steve pulled out an amazing 57lb 2oz beauty!! To say he was overwhelmed was a bit of an understatement for Steve. Roger, our man on the frontline, said he was dumbstruck and could hardly talk. I'm not surprised Steve!! Steve named the fish 'Becky' after his new daughter. Well Done that man!!

So, after all that excitement, that night the pair chilled out. But shortly afterwards Bang!! Lee got a hell of a tug on his line and 30mins later landed, on the Bank!!! A 96lb 2oz Catfish. He MUST of eaten 2 Shredded Wheat to get that rascal on the Bank!!!

Well done Lee, well done Steve. Both of whom have said ......... We WILL be back.
