Chris Lowe Bags A 45lb Carp

Chub Carp Academy member, Chris Lowe has recently caught a 45lb Mirror Carp whilst fishing at Acton Burnell Carp Lakes, Shropshire.

Caught using a Chub Vantage 13ft 3.5lb rod, Chris managed to land the 45lb Mirror Carp using PVA Mesh Bags and 4 kilos of mixed bait, composed of particles and boiles.

Chris Lowe said;
“The fish was in its winter colours and looked stunning in the good light conditions. It put up a good fight and took nearly twenty minutes to land which is unusual for this lake.”
