Catch report for week ending 5th August, 2012 There cannot be many venues in the Devon area where the average weight of fish caught is an astonishing 32lbs, but that is exactly what happened at Emperor Lakes this week on the Syndicate lake! What is currently the Syndicate will have full public access from April 2013, so start making your plans now!
The day ticket specimen lake has thrown up loads of fish including good catfish for our visitors. Matt Attwood used Emperor Lakes own baits to slip the net under cats of 33lbs 10oz and 33lbs 14oz, and Donny Tom snaffled a smaller cat of 16lbs+. Donny also managed a common carp of 21lbs 2oz on Steve Renyard Contrast baits. Barry Taylor had a brace of common carp, bith of 17lbs and one of our new visitors, Michael May grasped advice given previously to take a brand new personal best of 28lbs 8oz and a single figure back up fish. He also took time to write and tell us how much he had enjoyed his session. Dave Wood is still part way through a week long session; after just 48 hours, he has had ten fish to 27lbs+ on Pallatrax baits, so we expect even more!
