Jeremy Wade Lands Giant Freshwater Stingray

I have attached pictures of a Giant freshwater stingray estimated to weigh 400lb+.

The Giant stingray was caught by extreme angler Jeremy Wade whilst filming the latest series of River Monsters with the Fishsiam team.

The freshwater stingray was estimated to weigh 400lb+ and promptly gave birth to twins after capture.

The stingray was one of several monster stingrays caught during a two week expedition to various rivers in Thailand.
 
The stingray was caught on a strong stand up rod with Okuma multiplier coupled with 100lb mainline,130lb flurocarbon leader,large Owner circle hook and 1 kg weight. A large live 2lb+ snakehead was used as bait.
