Greys Carp Academy Member Lands Personal Best

Greys Carp Academy Member, Kevin Grix, has landed a UK personal best.

The 50lb 5oz Common was captured using a Greys X-Flite 12’ 2.75lb T/C rod over a two kilo bed of Premier Bait. This is the second UK 50lb carp caught by Kevin.

The beautiful Carp was caught on a Syndicate Water. After topping up the swim, Kevin who is from Norfolk also banked a 37lb Mirror carp on the same trip.

Kevin said;
“The Greys X-Flite Rod played like a dream and the impressive fighting curve subdued the powerful lunges the fish gave. It was a truly fantastic moment to land such a wonderful fish.”
