The Ospreys have won the Lexus European Team Championship 2009.
The team of six - Hardy & Greys Product Development Assistant, Scott Nellins, Paul Davison, Steve Cullen, Iain Earle, Ian Jones and Mark Howard competed against 22 other teams and 132 anglers to claim the victory.
Held on Rutland Water on the 22nd and 23rd August Scott Nellins said;
“We had a commanding lead after Day 1, but a disastrous 2nd day saw us almost loose the top spot. We just managed to hang on by a couple of pounds thanks to a great team effort. The Ospreys would like to dedicate their win to David Hodgson.”
Chris Guthrie of the Greys G-Tec Stocks Team won Overall Best Bag in the comp over the 2 days, fishing with small dries up the north arm.
