Anglers' Net - The UK Online Fishing Magazine: Pulborough AS Report - 2 March 2008 Pulborough AS Report - 2 March 2008 ================================================================================ Mark-Emery on 03 March, 2008 02:00:00 Catch Reports Goose Green Anthony Tester fished Heron Lake at Goose Green on the 2 March, fishing the waggler and maggot, Anthony caught a Roach, Skimmers & Gudgeon, Anthony's son Adam was also to be found on Heron, also fishing the waggler, it did look as if Adam was going to have a red letter day when his first cast resulted in a fine Carp of 8-0-0, however that was to be his only fish for some time, electing to move out of the wind was Adams choice, having relocated on the opposite bank of the lake, Adam was soon into Roach, Rudd & Skimmers. Mark Emery was to be found on Heron as well on Sunday, Mark fishing the waggler with maggot hook baits, caught from the off with Skimmers, Roach, Rudd and Bream coming to his waiting net. River Adur No reports received this week River Rother No reports received this week Fishery News - Goose Green There has been some confusion in identifying the new ponds created between the main road and the Tench pond at Goose Green, It has therefore been decided by the committee to rename them as follows Lake 2 / Bottom Lake, will now be called Heron Lake Lake 3 / Middle Lake, will now be called Canada Lake Lake 4 / Top Lake, will now be called Kingfisher Lake These are all names reflecting birds associated with water that have been seen at Goose Green, the names of the other three lakes at the fishery Tench, New & Deep Lake remain unchanged. To help establish these names and to confirm the existing names of the other three lakes (Tench, New and Deep), purpose made name boards will be erected by the side of each lake showing it's name Fishery News - Moor Farm Please note that our Moor Farm Fishery re-opened on Saturday 1st March 2008.
