Goose Green

Simon and Colin Parker fished Canada Lake at Goose Green on the 4th July, the boys aged 10 & 8 respectively decided a brotherly knock up match was in order, so under the watchful eyes of grandparents Ray & Sandy Emery the boys set up and were off, Simon fishing the short pole with meat on the hook caught five Bream & three carp, plus a few bits for a total combined net of 20-0-0, Colin elected to fish the waggler with corn on the hook, Colin caught Carp & Bream plus a few bits for a net of 12-0-0, a picture of the boys and their respective catches is attached.

Moor Farm

Tony Denton & his 14 year old son who are new members fished the top lake at Moor Farm on the 30 June. The pair enjoyed an afternoon into evening session and caught six Tench to 2-8-0 and well over a dozen good Crucians to 1-0-0 plus, the pair fished wagglers to the lilly pads at the top of the lake using red maggot and luncheon meat.

River Rother

Jon Taylor has enjoyed some success on the River Rother recently, Jon tell us that the general condition of the river was good, Jon fished the feeder on his first trip up to the river and caught Chub to 1-8-0 and Eels to also to 1-8-0, on his second trip of the week. Jon caught smaller Chub and three Eels.
