Angling Trust news release
The Angling Trust National Team and Competition Marine Group are considering entering teams into the World Championships in 2012. The first event will be the World Championships Big Game Fishing from 28th February – 3rd March in South Africa.
Next year the teams will be participating at different dates at various locations around the World and the Competitions Marine Group will be holding two selection meetings to select the teams for 2012. Therefore, the application forms for the World Game, Juniors & Youth Shore and Home Internationals, and World Boat and Home Boat will need completing in full and returned with a passport photo by no later than 31st October 2011, and the Men's World Shore & Home International, Ladies World Shore, and Casting to be returned no later than 31st January 2012.
If anyone is interested in applying for the England teams the application forms are available on the Angling Trust website at; www.anglingtrust.net or by contacting the Competitions Department at 0115 9061 301/307 or email sandra.drew@anglingtrust.net. All applications must be returned by no later than the closing dates, applications that arrive after the closing date will not be considered. All completed application forms must be returned to: Sandra Drew, Angling Trust Competitions & Events Manager, Marine Application, Strelley Hall, Nottingham. NG8 6PE.
Please note: Application forms have automatically been sent to everyone who applied for this year’s World Championships.
