Wales Carp Masters News

Heat 5 of the 2008 Wales Carp Masters took place at Celtic Lakes Resort over the weekend of 1st - 3rd August.

Six pairs of carp anglers took part in Heat 5 of Wales' premier carp fishing competition, with the top three finishing as follows:

1 Simon Bennie & Paul Branfield - 122lb 15oz

2 Rob Simpson & Stuart Messer - 93lb 14oz

3 Andy Williams & Russ Williams - 84lb 1oz

As you can see from the results, the fishing was really hard with the weather once again having a major impact on proceedings. Despite this the winning duo of Simon Bennie & Paul Branfield produced a winning weight of just over 122lb 15oz.
