The evening sessions continue and the fishery is now open from 8am till 10pm, 7
days.
ONE Yellow Prize Tagged Trout were caught this week.  Mr S Conway (Shotts) from
the top fly pond winning him £50. Yellow £50 Tags are stocked weekly.  There are
plenty tags still in the water including two £500 White Tagged Fish.
TWO specimen trout were caught this week.  Mr Graham Dow (Denny) caught a
superb 10lb 2oz rainbow in his bag of 3 for 18lb 8oz on Saturday all from the
middle fly pond, and Mr T McGreagor (Denny) landed a cracking 9lb 2oz rainbow
in his bag of 4 fish from the bait pond on Sunday.
Best flies this week: Buzzers, Fritzes,  Mini-Cats, Peach Dancer fished on a
floating or intermediate line.  Best bait: Orange Powerbait, Maggots, Mepp
Spinners and Tazs.
