The evening sessions continue and the fishery is open from 8am till 10pm, 7
days.
All 3 lochans fished very well this week.  Fly life is prolific and water
quality is excellent.  Trout are free rising and conditions are perfect.
FOUR specimen trout were caught this week:
Mr Grant (Falkirk) landed a superb 12lb 8oz rainbow from the top fly pond in
his 4 for 20lb, Mr K Kettles (Edinburgh) caught a nice 9lb rainbow in his 5 for
19lb, Mr Henderson (Falkirk) caught 5  fish for 18lb largest at 8lb 8oz, and Mr
G Reid (Muirhead) caught a lovely 7lb 7oz rainbow in his bag of 4 for 13lb
12oz.
ONE Yellow Prize Tagged Trout were caught this week  Mr Clark (Falkirk) from
the middle fly pond winning him £50. Yellow £50 Tags are stocked weekly.  There
are plenty tags still in the water including two £500 White Tagged Fish.
Best flies this week: Hoppers, Buzzers, Diawl Bach, Yellow Dancer fished on a
floating or intermediate line.  Best bait: Green Powerbait, Maggots, Mepp
Spinners.
