These fantastic little packs are just the job if you are looking to get yourself
a few of those little odds and ends that always seem to cost a small fortune in
the shops. Also, with the dreaded C word now only a matter of weeks away;
they would make the ideal gift for that hard to buy for parent or friend * and
a very handy one at that!
So, what do they contain? Well, Fladen have aimed each pack at a specific
sector of the sport with three to choose from;
Sea Accessory Starter Pack * 7005
Particularly suited to the boat angler who is hoping to catch the odd cod or
mackerel. The pack contains a pirk, along with a good selection of snap swivels
and traces.
Coast / Inshore Accessory Starter Pack * 7075
This eight compartment pack is ideal for Coast and Estuary angling and includes
all sorts of bits and pieces; a selection of single and treble hooks, along with
a number of traces, swivels, split rings, and weights.
Pike / Lake Accessory Starter Pack * 7076
Aimed at the predator angler, this eight compartment pack includes all the end
tackle you will need, everything from trebles and traces, to snap swivels and
split rings.
I have to confess that Ive not used the contents of any of the packs in anger,
however, weve taken all the packs apart and had a good tug and pull on various
components and all seem to live up the reputation of quality promoted by the
Fladen Brand.
What I like about these packs is that they give you everything you need to
completely change your approach in a matter of minutes. For example, Im a carp
angler in the main, however, by chucking the little predator pack in with my
tackle (which Ive already done!) I can quickly change my approach to have a go
at a few snappers when its slow on the carp front.
