Uni-Com Wind-Up LED Headlamp

I've managed to build up quite a collection of fishing tackle over the years, some of it quite valuable. I had to chuckle at the thought, however, that one of my favourite new fishing accessories costs less than a tenner and comes from a company that is known for selling gifts, rather than things you actually use on the bank! That said, if you take a quick look around the Just Fish website, you'll see that they do quite a few handy bits and pieces.

This wind-up headlamp really is a carp angler's dream. It's so annoying when your headlamp batteries run out. Even more so when you get to the bank and notice that your headlamp has magically turned itself on in your bag and drained the batteries! No chance of that happening now!

This mini headlamp takes just one minute of 'charging' to supply 40 minutes of light.

To charge the headlamp, simply pull it from its fixing and you'll see the concealed handle, which folds out. Turn it for about a minute and that's it – no need to ever buy torch batteries again! Once removed from its fixing, there's nothing to stop you using it as a normal torch, too.

There are three light settings on the headlamp – one LED, three LED's and three flashing LED's. For most night work, such as baiting up, making a brew, etc., you'll probably find that just one LED is sufficient. For its size, it's an incredibly bright little lamp.

This lamp is lightweight and comes complete with a comfortable headstrap and I really can't fault this item. Everyone I've shown it to has said that they want one, and you can't get much of a better recommendation than that!
