New look, new packages and new deals for Anglers' Net readers! News release from The Long Key Fishing Club
Fishing in Florida, the UK’s premier Florida Keys fishing holiday company, launch their new website, offering a greater variety of fishing holidays and some great offers for 2011
Travellers wanting to experience fishing for big Tarpon, Bonefish, Sharks, Sailfish, huge Grouper and other species in the Florida Keys during 2011, should browse the Long Key Fishing Clubs new website www.fishinginflorida.co.uk which offers information on all the types of fishing and accommodation that the Long Key Fishing Club offer, plus which species are available at different times of the year. This will make it easy for potential anglers to pick and choose the right trip for their needs and their budget. As well as basic holiday packages, the Long Key Fishing Club specialise in bespoke holidays, for those anglers and their families wishing to experience a wide variety of the fishing available in the Florida Keys.
"Package fishing holidays to the Florida Keys are nothing new to us but due to customer demand, we have now introduced self drive boat fishing, kayak fishing and shore fishing, to the packages we already have on offer. We have also added a variety of accommodation options too, so there really is something for everybody’s budget. Our cheapest packages now start from £799 per person for a week’s accommodation and fishing. We have also changed the name of the company to The Long Key Fishing Club, to celebrate our expansion. All our holidays are all based in and around Long Key, which is a tranquil and beautiful island – a real piece of paradise – in the middle keys approximately ten miles south of Islamorada. The name “The Long Key Fishing Club” isn’t actually new. In 1908 the Long Key Fishing Club was first established on Long Key for travelling anglers like our own, and it was this very club that made the Keys famous and lead to them to become known as ‘the sport fishing capital of the world’. All the Keys have great fishing, but because Long Key is quieter and suffers less fishing pressure than other Keys, like Islamorada and Marathon, the fishing here is better, especially for big Tarpon. It’s not uncommon to hook up to ten 100lb and bigger Tarpon in one day when fishing from Long Key" says top guide and project manager Jim O’Donnell.
