Hillside Fishery latest catch reports

Carl Smith had a great session on peg 2, Pad Lake on Friday evening. He managed five carp in total with two twenties including a stunning ghosty.

The largest of the session was a 24lb 5oz Mirror, closely followed by a 21lb prestine ghosty.

He also netted a 16lb common and a couple around the 10lb mark.

He also landed two of the new stock of carp we recently introduced which shows great signs of them settling in well.
He approached the swim with a considerable amount of bait and fished over a large bed of boilies with Banoffee pop ups.

Leon had an action packed session over the bank holiday weekend on Berts Pool, managing to hook into 16 carp in total.

Yellow pop ups and wafters did the business and it included this stunning 14lb common from Peg 9.

Finally we have Wade who was fishing on peg 2 of Bert’s Pool on Friday evening and the peg produced both a carp and a catfish for Wade, this 16lb Mirror dragged him out of the sack in the night.

One of the more junior of our Catfish population rolled into the net on Friday evening at 17lb 5oz.
