Jim Gibbinson
Another top name who hardly needs an introduction. Jim Gibbinson has written eight angling books, five of them on carp fishing. In addition he contributes to most UK angling publications and also to specialist magazines in France, Germany, Italy and Poland. His preferred waters are gravel pits; his favourite species are carp and tench. He is, however, something of an all-rounder and has frequently taken 'time out' from carp and tench to fish for pike, bream, roach, chub, barbel and reservoir trout. He also enjoys sea fishing - particularly from the shore for cod and bass.
