Coarse Fishing Stoney, Yateley and Anglers' Net Started by Elton A sponsored fish'in in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief at the Yateley complex is to be run by Stoney & Friends on the 7-9th September. If we can get enough people then Anglers' Net can have their own lake and be able to fish together. For more info on how to join go to: http://www.anglers-net.co.uk/ubb/forum1/html/003414.html Is This Fishing? Started by Wazzy Article in AT today with Terry Lampard Bream fishing. The man catches some phenomenal fish but in article, gets to lake, takes out boat to find a feature to fish to, baits up feature from boat and then rows out baits to position them from boat. Sits in bivvy and rows out again in morning to see bait has been eaten so baits up again and catches 2 double figure Bream. Total time spent fishing is three days. Is there skill in this i.e. casting in would be a start, or is it just having the time to spend on the bank. This isn't a dig at Terry Lampard but to me there doesnt seem to be a lot of actual angling involved, or maybe Im missing the point. Do many of you clip your rigs or just go for a flapper set-up? Do you tailor your rig to a venue or to a species or to the bait you are using? What's you favourite hook pattern? I'm in love with Kamasan Aberdeens for 90% of my shore work. Find out more by going to: http://www.anglers-net.co.uk/ubb/Forum2/HTML/000380.html Game Fishing Furled Leaders Started by Umber.
