Lesley Crawford

Lesley CrawfordLesley Crawford has been fishing for over 40 years and is recognised as a leading authority on wild trout in Scotland. She hails from Caithness in the far north of Scotland where she works as Fishing Guide and Instructor running guided angling holidays in the Highlands.

Lesley has written and illustrated two highly acclaimed books for Swan Hill; Fishing for Wild Trout in Scottish Lochs in 1996 and Scotlands Classic Wild Trout Waters published September 2000. She has been a prolific contributor to many angling publications including Salmon Trout and Sea Trout, The Scotsman, Farlows Magazine, Fish&Fly internet magazine, Scottish Sporting Gazette and the Countrymans Weekly. As well as feature writing and photography, Lesley has authored successful local guidebooks and appeared on televisions `Screaming Reels' and the `Countryside Hour'.

Lesley is happily married to Ron and is the proud mother of two fine sons Andrew & Ewan. When not fishing, writing or taking photographs, she likes to relax with good food and wine and a weekly game of (normally bad!) golf.
