Although the name Nick Buss may not be as well known as some in writing circles, the chances are that you will have at least heard of Nick if you are considered to be a leading Carp specialist. Nick is the Joint R.O. for the Kent arm of the British Carp Study Group.

Having served an apprenticeship and then ten years in an engineering role, Nick decided that sitting around on his backside wasn't what he wanted from life and set up his own company, selling floristry sundries to the trade. This went well until the giant supermarkets decided to muscle in and, effectively, wiped out a large percentage of Nick's customer base.

Nick was there at the beginning of Caliber Tackle and helped Steve Burke to set up a company that is now a household name to UK specialist anglers.

Nick has written a book that he just never got round to publishing. We've got it now and hope that you get as much fun from reading it as we do. It is just the sort of thing to show the world that fishing and fishermen/women can be fun.
