I’ve developed a sure-fire way of spotting some of the best bargains on the TackleBargains website – I look at the top ten seller list they have on there and cheat!
Admittedly, this doesn’t always show me the VERY best bargains. The way TackleBargains work, they often have small numbers of heavily discounted items, and even many ‘one-offs’, which are destined to be snapped up before I’ve had the chance to spot them. However, the Top 10 list does give me a good idea of what’s selling well in numbers…
Sneaking in at number 10 today, like an X-Factor winner’s follow-up single, I spotted these Crystal Wagglers at £7 for twenty. These are slight cosmetic seconds, as the blurb here from TackleBargains makes clear:
“A selection of 20 good quality crystal wagglers, 2 each of 10 sizes / styles. Recomended shotting marked on each float. These normally sell for between 90p and £1.25 each depending on size / colour.
We have a limited quantity of these, where the paint finish is not quite up to the manufacturer’s extremely high standards – Grab a bargain while stocks last!

I’ve had some of these from TackleBargains and they’re perfectly good floats. If you’re a perfectionist, you could touch them up with a bit of paint. To me, however, the joy of a float is in not seeing it!
