The Ray Walton Rolling Pin is a unique ‘sidecasting’ reel designed for barbel fishing in particular. Using a simple release mechanism, the spool can be turned through 90 degrees to allow casting from the side of the drum (fixed spool style). This makes fishing in tight spots or where long distances are necessary a simple task and is great for barbel fishing on large rivers.
Once cast, you then return the drum to its customary ‘centrepin’ format.
The Ray Walton Rolling Pin features 2 ball bearings, click check and a certificate of authenticity. It doesn’t guarantee you the fish that Ray himself has caught, but it will go a long way to helping you catch them!
