A quick look at Issue 234, on sale June 16th-July 14th, 2010

Issue 234 of Improve Your Coarse Fishing (IYCF) has a cover mounted booklet entitled ‘REALLY USEFUL BAIT BOOK’, and I have to admit that the name is very fitting. It’s a nifty little guide, just under 50 pages, that takes a look at most of the popular UK coarse fishing baits and shows the user how to get the best from them. It’s packed with tips and is fantastically illustrated. I’d actually go as far as to say it’s worth the price of the magazine for this little guide itself, if you’re fairly new to angling!

The cover picture of the magazine itself shows a smiling Mick Brown with a common carp and we’re told that he’ll show us the rigs and baits to catch them off the surface inside.

Other articles mentioned on the cover include a new river method for chub, summer tench fishing and a 32-page fishery guide, covering 500 venues!

Here’s some idea of what’s included, courtesy of the IYCF “Inside this month…” section;
