A quick look at issue 455, on sale July 8th-August 4th, 2010

BASS are the order of the day on the cover of this month’s Sea Angler, with a photo and BIG WORDS advertising the fact that there’s an article inside on bait fishing for bass!

The cover also hints at a Rovex beach rod review, a fast running shore fish feature, a look at a new Akios reel, a charter boat guide and the Bass Angler and Boat Angler supplements.

Before we take a look at the contents page, just a quick note to say how good it is to see Mel Russ back out boat fishing after an eight-month plus layoff. Mel’s editorial mentions that he had a hip replacement and has been unable to boat fish for some time. Having been an angler as long as he has, he must have been going stir crazy! Tight lines to you, Mel.

On to the contents….
