A quick tip: Most anglers are now using PVA stocking that sinks rapidly to the lake bed creating a tight parcel of free offerings that may also become concealed in silt and weed. If you leave some air in your PVA bag, it will sink much slower through the water, allowing the free offerings to settle visibly on top of silt and weed. When the bag ruptures it scatters the bait, achieving a more attractive baiting pattern to trick the wariest of carp.
