Buffalo fish-in set for October 15-17. Two of the guys have been pre-baiting to get ready. I'd invite AN folks but afraid it may be a little too far for you. But even from a distance, you might be interested in a typical pre-baiting for a fish-in. If so, you can take a look

Haven't managed to fish a Chicago, D.C, or Texas (town lake) event yet myself. Went to the island today just to check things out. Fella put a 43+ buffalo on the bank just as I got there. Said it was their only buff but they did catch a few teen carp and a bunch of single figure catfish.
I fished a couple of hours but only manage catfish of 5 & 7 lbs.
