sex bits!
The males tend to have more pronounced pores/nodules on the top of their gills during spawning time ... apparently for rubbing against the female bits to stimulate ... 'stuff'

after you have gone to bed ,do you hear muffled moans late at night or strange slapping sounds ,thats spawing of a sort ,mummy will tell you all about it one day and dont worry they`l (or at least your mum) will forgive you if you find that pictures of naked men give you strange stirrings in your under garments
