hmm that could be construed in some funny ways tho or is it just me thinking that?

Where it says fish tat are ornimental or farmed are protected under the bill.

So is a fishery owner who has breeding ponds and/or Koi carp in their pools at risk of prosecution for allowing them to be caught ect?

far from it Phil, the anti's have a way of finding "chinks/loopholes" in any law and i just see that as one of them.

yeah i do worry but working 14hr shifts gives you plenty of time to think and worry.

OH BTW i have seen anti's going through fishing mags cutting out pics of fish that are bleeding just to prove to joe public how cruel fishing is, i have been there when anti's have planned their attacks on anglers/angling ect but hey like you say......don't worry.

Look alan, I aint gonna get into a slanging match over the issue, but you sound rather paranoid about the whole issue.......yeah sure there are antis out there, there are anti everythings out there these days but dont let the b*stards ruin YOUR life.

Theres speed cameras out there but I dont fret about them all day, I just get inmy car, drive and deal with them when they appear.

Angling aint gonna be stopped in yours or my lifetime so stop worrying.

Hi Phil

Sorry if it looks like i'm after a slanging match mate, far from it some of the others on here who know me from when i first signed up wayyyyyyyyy back know how passionate i am about angling and how i will do everything possible to prevent or rubbish anti's and their "propaganda".

I don't let them ruin or run my life in anyway shape or form but in my spare time i like to keep them under tabs....as the saying goes keep your friends close but your enemies closer.

I had the "pleasure" of feeling the force of the anti brigade when i was just a kid (15yrs old), they came walking along, beat me up and threw my bike and gear in the cut, i didn't know about leptospirosis back then and all i wanted to do was get the fishing gear my dad had left me so i went in the cut and reached/felt around for it.

I swore then that it would never happen again and it hasn't but i'm still doing everything i can to rubbish the idiots..erm sorry anti's.

So i look at it as more of a revenge thing than paranioa

As for angling being banned/stopped i really don't care cos i will continue to fish no matter what BUT i would like to think i've done my part in preserving angling for my children (15yrs down to 3yrs) & would hate the feeling that i'd stuck my head in the sand and let the anti's win any ground.

Hmm then again if they did ban angling there's always the new sport of anti bashing demon biggrin.gif

Fair enough mate.....I guess as a newbie its hard knowing what people stand for and took your words a bit too literally.

I like the idea of anti bashing though......sounds like fun ;-)

Phil (who thanks to google also knows what leptospirosis is)
