Hi all,
I'm currently looking round for a new bedchair. Any recommendations? Ideally not to pricey, with padding all round and possibley "3" legs would be nice. I'm not a tackle tart or slightly interested in brands, but would like a comfy one. What can i get for my money? Cheers! Bretty -------------------- Bretty

Gota few suggestions but would be easiear if I know how much you want to spend. All bedchairs are of a good quality. I would reccomend one from the fox or JRC range, these are of a good quality and most are reasonble priced. I would steer clear of the badger range as I have heard they are cheap and that you pay for what you get, rubbish!!!!!!
Look under the following web page of fox http://www.foxint.com/home.php These have a wide range of prices so you can pick your price range. Would reccomend the Stalker Bedchair Ultra Bedchair Hope this is some help. |

I'd try a few out at your local shop. I did just this as I have a neck/back problem. For me, the JRC range was the most comfortable.
I've been very happy with the JRC Supalight 2 leg which I reviewed at http://anglers-net.co.uk/reviews/jrc02.htm Last year I started using a JRC 3 leg Stealth. Unfortunately, my neck problem meant very little fishing so I haven't yet fully field-tested it. Unlike some, I won't do a review just on the basis of a couple of trips as it's not enough to find out the pros and cons of any gear, let alone bedchairs. However, so far I've been very impressed. I'm now on the mend and have just restarted session fishing so will be doing a review soon. -------------------- Classic Fishing Books www.classicfishingbooks.co.uk 100s of fishing books for sale/wanted + reviews

If you have an uncomfortable bedchair, just go to Aldi or Lidl (can't remember which) and get one of their black self-inflating mattresses for about £8.99 - absolute bliss.

Yes I would go for the JRC range as they being great for me for the last seven years and still no problems with them.
look in their website as www.jrcproducts.com/ -------------------- Growing old is inevitable but growing up is optional

I would go for the jrc or fox range, these both offer excelent quality and a wide range of prices to suit a number of people.
Good luck Tight lines Luke |

Must admit I was looking at the cheaper bedchairs. But i'm getting the impression the cheaper bedchairs are steel not Aluminium so considerably heavier. Is that right?
I was hoping to spend less then £100. My last bedchair was a JRC, no padding and £140 when i got it. The only problem i had was the plastic ratchet on the back rest kept snapping. (£25 a time to replace). Have they made these any stronger? Cheers for the help so far!! -------------------- Bretty
