By the sound of it pretty terrible fishing weather this week, cold with melting snow going into the rivers etc. But could be bonanza time next week, with the weather really warming up well, and the rivers fining down nicely. How will people be using bonanza time?

I'm on the Kennet on Sunday.....and currently praying that they get it wrong. MetCheck forecasting a fair amount of rain on Saturday which will take all the salt and other stuff off the roads and into the river.....yuk!

After that I won't get another chance to get out before the last weekend of the season.

I'm staying away this week other than going down to pump out the inevitable water that will be in the boat if the forecast is right. I've cleard the decks for action tho' the following week.

I'm going roach fishing on the Severn tomorrow. biggrin.gif

It looks like the snow has just reached us here in the Wolverhampton area, literally started falling in the last few minutes.

I love fishing in the snow.

bit of white stuff today ,not snow but little light balls ,went out on bike but it was warm ,i blame it on the mrs buying a snow shovel ,if she hadent it would be a foot thick by now biggrin.gif
shocked to see the water companies are declaring a drought here in the south ,our feeder streams havent stopped running for 3 years  maybe its an excuse for the coming 20% water price hike
