Want to do some serious carp fishing next spring/summer (need a break from the Tench & Bream!!!). Was wondering if anyone out there is prepared to help with advice on the Woolpack Fishery @ Godmanchester (Cambs). As I said I've fishe it for tench and bream but never had a serious go for the carp.

Thanks in advance - Phil

Can't beleive NOBODY out there fishes @ the Woolpack!!!!! or are you all just keeping quiet? Only looking for advice on lakes 1, 2, 3 & 8 as I can't afford to even think about applying for the Gold (syndicate) ticket.

Is that the place at the side of the main road on yer left going eastward? If so, I did'nt think it was a carp water? Must be more to it than initially meats the eye?

Not if you're talking about the lake you can see from the A14, not sure who owns that but it only ever has one or two bivvies on it and so is probably a syncidate water. You take next exit off A14 to get to Woolpack. The fishery is 8 lakes and although close to, it cannot be seen from A14. Not a known big fish water but it's close to my home.
