Just went to buy my licence online....

The site isn't working.

Really handy for somebody who constantly promotes online licence sales biggrin.gif

Fortunately, the phone line (0870 1662662) is operational, as I am fishing tomorrow morning! smile.gif

I bought mine on-line back in march and it only arrived yesterday morning (friday).

BTW - best of fortunes on your fishing trip.

Fancy leaving a bit late for buying a fishing licence! I brought mine back in early April at the local post office

My licence took 3 weeks to arrive, but I did print the online page to use if I was stopped and asked to produce my licence. Not that I have ever been asked to prodeuce a licence while fishing !

Got mine at a small PO a few weeks back.
Yesterday an EA 'swat team' decended on the small club trout water I was afluffachucking on, I'd left mine in the car & guess what, the 'check it over the phone' thing don't work, so I had a nice walk with the EA man back up to my motor to produce the goods (knowing glances from all the other fluff chuckers!! - felt like a right crim I did!).
Another twit was'nt so lucky and got caught without one - club book confiscated and a nice fine a'comming?
First time in 25yrs I've ever had my licence checked.
So if you a'int got one yet - get it before you go!
Once again - is it beyond day ticket sellers to ask if the customer can legaly fish? They'd soon do so if they got a fine like a toyshop for selling glue or a licencee booze to underage chavs.

Bought mine online for the last couple of years without a problem until this year. They were unable to send confirmation emails, although they gave me the numbers for mine and the lads. Their site claims they will post the licences the next working day.
Phoned yesterday, 10 days after booking them, quoted the numbers and they told me they were printed and posted last week and they would send some more. Hope they turn up soon. Good job I saved the web pages with the numbers on, so at least I've got something I can print off as proof.
