If you want ready-tied rigs, go to http://www.trevs-tackle.com/ and scroll down the page to the Prologic ones at 12 rigs for a tenner. Quite a few people are using these now. One of them I know, in particular, always used to curse ready-tied rigs until he saw these!

I always thought that the "knotless knot" was so ridiculously easy to tie that it made pre-tied hooks completely redundant.

Not at all. I've been using Nash Combi Rigs a lot lately, as I haven't got the nerve to tie them myself smile.gif

I gave up trying to tie rigs with rings and loops in them years ago, after coming to the conclusion that there was some kind of a copmpetition running amongst some of the top anglers at the time, to see who could get the silliest rig into print,

If I'm totally honest, I wouldn't trust any rig that I haven't tied myself.

Maybe that's just me, but I'm quite particular with my rigs and knots, so I wouldn't trust anyone else's.

Me neither but I would have thought the problem here may not just be the quality of the hook lengths (which may be ok).

Tony, what tackle are you using with these hook lengths? as much info on this and the type of fishing/how/when the breaks occur would be helpfull.
