Just interested if anyone who has watched this new Korda video will be making any drastic changes to the way they fish???
I've been talking to a very good angler from Oxford who advises to not read too much into it as the fish react totally differently on every water. I think I'll just be using shorter hooklengths, heavier weights and most definately putting more effort in at half light, (dusk and dawn) which seemed to be the most voracious feeding time for the fish, on that particular lake anyway!. -------------------- shooter

Yep ive watched the video severall times thought it was very interesting and yes it did make a difference to my fishing the first sesion i did after watching made me think about what was actually happening under the water. Of course there will be differences between waters the fish in horseshoe arent the most clever carp in the country but its similar to a water near me thats full of tench and they are a bugger to get through to start catching the carp but i definately recommend people go out and buy this the video its just 17 99 for two 2 hour tapes and its one of the best made carp vids out i wasnt a big fan of danny fairbrass before i saw this but have changed my views on him since seeing the video.Get out and buy it.

definately interesting footage and well worth watching.
no major criticisms but few things would have changed: - would have approached the rig alterations with a more systematic approach around rig fine tuning to the feeding situation. - where was the klinik?? - less tench footage, saw a few to many tench battles and on the bank, a look at the pick up would suffice. - suprised at some of the editing - why tell us you've sacked a fish all night in the summer, not good practice. - as mentioned above specific circumstances so you can't draw conclusions for every circumstance but think that was acknowledged in the program - e.g. clarity of water. overal thumbs up korda and danny though -------------------- webmaster

One thing I noticed, and he did try to defend himself on the video, is the fact that he was too far from his rods.
It was taking a good while for him to run to his rods and it was far longer than I would accept, even if I was fast asleep during the night. I know that on my club waters that would not be acceptable and you would definately be pulled up by the Bailiff for leaving your rods unattended.....and rightly so. Why didnt they set up the TV feed in his swim rather than the adjacent swim??? Any views on this??? -------------------- shooter

agree.
in the circumstances, open water angling, fairly open lake etc. there was not really much risk but again not the ideal impression to give. -------------------- webmaster
