I have a question - is the River Alde a bass nursery area and is it therefore illegal to retain bass from there?

Cheers, I had a look there earlier and it isn't listed as one, nor on the CEFAS report but another angler has told me that it is and quite frankly I have to make sure it isn't or i'll have to find somewhere else to fish for them. I have emailed CEFAS but figured you guys might know for sure.

You'll need to check your local SFC (Alde Area) for local Byelaws -

Great, thank you! I contacted them and it is NOT a nursery area and there are NO restrictions other than the trawling/potting byelaws for Orford. Thank you.
