Oops didn't mean to start a new topic!

Don't bother grounding up pellets or boiling water etc!!!! Go and buy trout pellet powder from your local tackle shop it lasts for ages (even after the bag has been opened) and you can just pop it in your bag and mix ix on the bank with lake/river water (no chlorine) as and when you need it.

Three more tips by the way:

If you use hemp use the hempy water to mix your paste for extra appeal.

The trout pellet powder is an excellent binder put some in any groundbait to make a method mix. Even simple crumb will bind to a feeder for ages in the water if mixed with trout pellet powder.

Mold the past around a hairigged pellet/boilie that way if it is nibbled away by small fish you are still left with a fishable bait. (sorry rudd has already said this)
