Does anyone know if new angling clubs can get a grant from the environment agency to help with booking fees for matches

Porker I sincerely hope not!

Grants from Lottery,Sports Council etc etc to develope fisheries/angling amenities, disabled anglers acsess etc are fine in my book. But using public money to pay peg fees?

Love to know if this is true or not as I would certainly have something to say about it.

Maybe I could put in for a "Bivvy Grant" or claim for the 50 or so live baits I have left that are dependant on me?

Welcome to AN by the way.

While you are waiting for your "Bivvy Grant" start looking for a two man bivvy size tongue.gif for your big build mate You shall need it for Wingham! biggrin.gif
