Some time ago i remember a topic on an adaptor to secure a camera to a bankstick for remote photo shots.
Should someone be able to give me this information and a line of supply i appreciate this.

Or, even more cheaply...

I had mine made by a friend with welding equipment about 25 years ago and still have it. It consists of two s/steel bolts, welded head to head (1/4in Whitworth and 3/8 BSF if I remember correctly - please correct me if I've given the wroing sizes, it was a long time ago).

Dunno whether it is still the same, but years ago the thread for the tri-pod adaptor in the bottom of a camera was the same as the thread in a landing net handle. A little bit of running thread or a bit cut off the end of a bolt was all that was needed to make the landing net handle into a camera stand. Not very sophisticated, but good enough for an angler to take a picture of himself holding a fish by using the camera timer.
