Louise and I spent Saturday and Sunday in Chelmsford. we fished the lake in Central Park on Saturday.
Lou had her first ever bream. wasnt sure if it was a Silver Bream, or just a young common bream?
here is a pic: small bream

I spent ages trying to catch one of the many carp that were sunbathing in the lillies. finally managed to tempt one into taking my cunningly positioned bait (freelined bread dangling off a lily pad biggrin.gif )
It came to the net after several attempts.
here it is my new PB!: 13lb Common Carp
close up shot

Sunday was mega hot! ohmy.gif I did manage to hook this small Jack on a small wobbled dead bait.
2lb ish jack

Lou had a little chublet on a worm. The worm was longer than the fish itself LOL typical greedy Chub.

All in all a good weekend.

So a slow day but well worth being out and sweating a little then?

Great looking fish and WTG on a new PB. Those are always fun.

It's a small Common yours Ricey, but here you go for the differences.

Yes, it's a small common bream.

See the recent thread anglersnet.co.uk/cgi-bin/ubb/ul...ic;f=1;t=015642 and in particular the reference in it to a FishingMagic article fishingmagic.com/news/article.a...26&v=3&UAN=3214
