Never visited this place, but thay have had a long association with Anglers' Net and I've had loads of good reports about them.

I fish this stretch quite a bit in the summer and the stretch before it. There are some cracking Barbel and nice Chub to be had.I find it a bit hit and miss though as one day you can't stop catching and the next you are struggling for bites. All in all a great stretch with plenty of water to fish and any number of methods work. By the way, there are also some clonking Zander.

This does not bother me as I go for the big stuff anyway, I was just explaining how the water was in general. Some people are dissapointed if even the small stuff don't show

The website for that fishery keep catching my eye too, although the distance from home has so far put me off.
