I'm looking for a water to fish and was wondering if anyone has any info on this water - Im not really into carping and like general coarse-fishing, so any advice as to tactics etc would also be welcomed.
thanks |

havent been to hythe for 20 years but you have the military canal running through it ,a great spot is outside the pub next to the bridge nearest the sea and onward to the sea.
there is also a church nearby for the guoulish its "cellar" stuffed from floor to ceiling with bones some skulls have hair left although they might now be bald ,locals on here will no doupt give you details to both venues [ 19. Just been to Nicholls Leisure Lake on Saturday. A really cool working gravel pit, with verying depths from 4ft out 4ft deep and bit further jesus I think it went to middle earth!
I was coarse fishing just under some reeds and wiped out a net fully of assorted size Roach and skimmers, needless to say I was well happy with my catch. A lot of others were Carp fishing and I beleive these were'nt feeding. Day Permit cost £10 and booking 24hr before by ring the Water baliff (Derrick Weller 07767 480929). Hope this helps, I can't wait to go back... -------------------- Growing old is inevitable, acting you age is optional !!!
