I was out reconning a lake yesterday and taking some photos too, when this Swan decided to chase some Geese. I quickly zoomed and got three shots, this was the best one by far. What do you think?

Fantastic picture,

They arent the slowest of birds when flying,

I was out walking the Basingstoke canal picture last year and two swans flew up the canal, amazing sound and quite a sight!! The airwaves created were something as well tongue.gif

Canon 300D "Digital Rebel" is the camera I am using now, it is a very good camera.

Skippy, yes feel free to use it as a screensaver. I will since you want to use it, rework it to a decent resolution/size for a screensaver/desktop background and make it available for download. And post the download link back here a bit later tonight.

Thanks for the comment everyone, I appreciate your positive feedback.

That's a cracking shot Steve. The more I look at it the more I like it, lots of "other interest" in it.

Why not send it to The Bird Forum..www.birdforum.net/ and enter it for their pic of the month...or have you already done that biggrin.gif

Best pic I have seen this year, thanks for sharing it,

Den
