SHORT TERM RENT (6 months renewable if available):

This fully furnished house is situated in the small village of Chapelle au Riboul, 10mins from Mayenne. The house in a hamlet with peaceful surroundings and has its own one acre carp lake surrounded by much wildlife.

The house has a lounge, kitchen, bathroom , and two bedrooms.

Perfect for anyone looking to buy in the area and needing a short term base. The house is currently on the market but we would honor any contract signed and give plenty of notice.

For a reduced rent we would ask the tenants to maintain the lake (grass cutting) and boarders in front garden.

Photographs available if required.

Monthly (reduced cost) 550 euros + electricity + water.

Anyone interested please email or telephone 02.43.05.51.56

See things like this ALL the time. But it's having time and I have to be brutally honest and say there is NOT a lot of feedback?? In fact in the last two weeks I think I have been approached by three people with NEW lakes to offer fishing holidays and had one other lake/property for sale.

I am in the business of selling fishing holidays/lakes/property myself and have not yet even had an enquiry about anything for nearly 12 months? I KNOW the holidays are cheap and the only reason anyone has ever given for NOT getting in touch is that the waters are the WRONG side of the country?

OK ferries from Dover are cheap and plentiful, but the waters are fished to death and I can get a ferry from Pompey to Caen for around £60 return?? So sorry thet to me nullifies that argument? But I will keep offering these titbits for you lot simply because I like you.

MOANING old git that I am!! ;-)

trouble is the uk and everyone in it are up to their necks in debt (well maybe not some wealthy pensioners wink.gif ) their houses worth is tumbling so they are in negative equity and the mortgage increasing, inflation (real inflation not the governments version) is well into double figures ,they are cutting back hard because its going to get worse and to top it all some just don't like froggies with their shoulder shrugging and PAHHHing biggrin.gif
as for france its self the services are too clean ,the roads unpotholed ,you get your dustbin over collected ,the girls are pretty ,the dogs never crap and theres no litter ,the fish rarely have names! its just to much of a shock for us

i did put a clause in wink.gif but if your not in it a mortgage is a dept however its dressed up ,if you have no mortgage and no debt i salute you your a rare person today ,your bills are paid in advance ofcourse!

makes me smile when britain is mentioned as a nation of houseowners ,untill the very last penny is paid off your mortgage your just renting a house from a lender and with far fewer rights than a renter from a landlord ,the difference is ofcourse once you finish paying rent to the former he gives you the house then you become a house owner biggrin.gif
