It may not have escaped your notice that I've created quite a few links to Ebay items around Anglers' Net recently. There's a simple reason for this - I need to make the site profitable by the end of the year and Ebay pay the bills smile.gif

One thing I'd like to do is highlight interesting angling auctions on the main part of the site, which has recently been updated at http://www.anglersnet.co.uk/

By 'interesting', I mean just about anything out of the ordinary, such as rare and expensive items, one-off's, etc.

If you come across anything that you think may be of interest, please let me know, either on this thread or by PM. I'll take a look and, if I can squeeze it in between jobs, will write a few words and publish it on Anglers' Net. The key to it, for me, is that I make what I publish interesting, rather than just keep plugging links, if that makes sense.

By the way, your own listings can be featured, too, if they fit the bill. In fact, I want to create an area on Anglers' Net soon where members can promote their own Ebay sales. That way, we both benefit.

I'll only post this on the Coarse forum and and non-fishing chat forum for now, just to see how it goes.

Just to make it clear - I am only interested in angling-related auctions at the moment and apologise in advance if you find something that I don't feature. Seriously, I've never been so swamped with work in my life, but it's all good stuff right now, so I'll try my best to feature as many items as possible smile.gif

I mention that because I've once seen a very sturdy bait boat being used to ferry cans of lager across a pit. I kid yee not.
