this morning i got a brochure through the door like i do every year from flamingo land, as i got to reading through it i noticed it said it had a fishing lake?, has anyone ever been on it or fished on it? if so what fish does it host and of what size?

flamingo land is a theme park in north yorkshire in england.

Flamingo land does have a lake on its site and a good one at that. Its been well established for over forty years that I know about and can be fished by the caravanners for free but day tickets can be purchased but are a bit pricy to cover park entrance fees.
The lake holds good stocks of roach, bream,tench,perch and eels to decent weights and well worth a look if you are on the site in a van |
